A physician affiliated with Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, anesthesiologist Robert Samuelson, MD, recently published a book with his wife, Dana Middlebrooks Samuelson. The book, Clovis Road: The Dr. Roy Hunt Murder, Littlefield, Texas, 1942–1943, is a true crime story. Dana Samuelson grew up in Littlefield and was fascinated by the story of the murders, which involved a love triangle among two physicians who went to medical school together and a nursing student they were both interested in. Dr. and Mrs. Samuelson researched the murder through the Southwest Collection at Texas Tech University and other sources, and the book is available through Amazon.com ($30 hardback).
