CTS Announcements

CANADIAN THORACIC SOCIETY SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM 2009

The Canadian Thoracic Society (CTS) is most grateful to the following speakers and moderators, who helped deliver a successful scientific program in San Diego, California, in conjunction with the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) CHEST Conference 2009: Drs Ken Chapman, Mark Fitzgerald, George Fox, Ronald Grossman, Peter Liu, James Martin, Art Slutsky, Sharon Dell, Liz Tullis, Stephen Field and Michel Rouleau.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr Robin McFadden, Chair of the program planning committee, who so deftly developed an outstanding program.

The CTS Scientific Program would not be possible without the support of the program sponsors. Many thanks to the following sponsors who provided unrestricted educational grants in support of the 2009 CTS Scientific Program:

  • Platinum Sponsors: AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline
  • Gold Sponsors: Boehringer-Ingelheim & Pfizer, Novartis, Nycomed
  • Silver Sponsor: Talecris
  • Bronze Sponsor: Actelion Pharmaceuticals
