People Living With Cancer, ASCO's award-winning patient information Web site, provides oncologists with a credible cancer information resource to share with patients, family members, friends, caregivers, and the cancer community. “One of the things that sets PLWC.org apart from other online sources of cancer information is its formal peer-review process,” says Diane Blum, MSW, editor-in-chief of PLWC.org. “Members of the PLWC Editorial Board are involved in clinical practice and research and, as such, PLWC.org content reflects the latest changes in standards of care.” PLWC.org's Editorial Board consists of 120+ leading oncologists, nurses, social workers, and advocates that work on behalf of patients with cancer around the globe.”
