Call for papers – Global sexual health

We are planning to produce a special issue of the journal addressing the theme of global sexual health. We would like to cover all sexually transmitted infections (STI), including HIV, and other sexual health issues. We are inviting submissions about global aspects of sexual health, which will be accompanied by commissioned commentaries and review articles from internationally recognised leaders in the field. Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to, epidemiology, prevention, the impact of health systems and service delivery, diagnosis and treatment of STI and HIV in low and middle income countries, “bridge” populations, international migration and sexual health, sexual health and human rights, travel, communication and emerging international threats to sexual health.

Sevgi Aral, Jackie Cassell, Nicola Low and Helen Ward will edit this special issue, with help from a team of expert reviewers.

Authors wishing to write original or review articles for this edition should submit their manuscripts electronically at http://submit‐ Please select ‘‘global issue'' as the article type when submitting your manuscript. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed. The following article types will be considered: original research articles (up to 2500 words, maximum 30 references and 3–4 tables or figures), short reports (up to 750 words, up to 10 references and one figure or table), review article (up to 3000 words and 60 references).
