Selecting an Appropriate Problem for Nursing Expert System Development

Abstract
While conceivably there are many domains in nursing practice that could benefit from artificially intelligent decision-support, it is unlikely that such technology could be developed for each of them. The parameters for selection of a problem for expert system development, within the context of artificial intelligence research in nursing, must be followed to ensure practical application of the developed expert system.
