ABOUT PMC CANADA
PMC Canada provides free access to a stable and permanent online digital archive of full-text, peer-reviewed health and life sciences research publications. It builds on PubMed Central (PMC), the archive developed by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), which is part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). The search interface allows anyone to browse, search and download articles.
PMC Canada capitalizes on Canadians' health research investments by allowing public access to and use of research results, supporting better health and care in Canada.
SUBMITTING A MANUSCRIPT TO PMC CANADA
PMC Canada supports CIHR's Open Access Policy, which requires grant recipients to ensure that their peer-reviewed publications are freely accessible online within 12 months of publication. At this time, PMC Canada can only accept submissions from CIHR funded Principal Investigators. If you are a CIHR funded Principal Investigator, and you do not yet have a PMC Canada Manuscript Submission System Account, please contact the CIHR Help Desk.
